The progression of a walnut orchard in neutral conditions

Walnut is a slow species to reach its maximum production, so Chandler Orchards makes available hectares planted in 2011 and in production for investors.

Year 2021:

Planted in 2011, 10-year-old trees offer significant yield.

  • Yield up to 1200 kg / ha.

Year 2022:

It is where the yield increases and structural increases of the plants begin to intersect.

  • At this point you can get about 2500kg / ha.

Year 2023-2024:

The plants should have sufficient structures of secondary and tertiary branches throughout their entire elongation and reach 5-6 meters in height.

The plants should achieve about 15 kg / plant, which gives us about:

  • 4300-5000 kg / ha as a base.

From Year 2025:

The annual yield is consolidated until the year 2100:

  • Up to 5000 kg / ha per year .

After 2025 the yields should stabilize in the order of 5000kg / ha per year. Although this development could be considered conservative with respect to projected returns, it is important to note that returns in any particular year are dependent on weather and a number of other factors.
